...the last time you blogged, it is definitely time to compose a new post! lol! September was a busy month, and October is shaping up to be just as busy. Between work, the increased load of 2 kids with nightly homework, activities and trying to keep ahead of the clutter here at home, it is a struggle sometimes. I figure I have about two useable hours a day that I can try to get any creative time in, and lately I've been relaxing with tv episodes on dvd, or with my favorite show instead of crafting. I try to make up on the weekends, but sometimes crafting takes a backseat to my family's activities, and I've been working on accepting that limitation. Now if I could figure out how to get by on less sleep, I'd be all set, but am beginning to understand that this is how it has to be right now.
On the health front, I had great news at my 3 month audiologist follow-up yesterday. Amazingly, I have had a "significant" improvement in hearing in my left ear. I still have a moderate loss, but I have regained some of the lower pitches, which is wonderful news. I go back in 2 months to have it tested again...
When I have been crafting, it has been using a lot of new Pink Paislee - the Amber Road collection for fall, Twilight for Halloween crafting, and Pat just got in the new Mistletoe and Co. stuff for Christmas crafting. I'm in heaven! :) Loving the new Cosomo Cricket collections too, especially The Boyfriend. Here are a couple new pages...
I'm working on some new projects that I hope to share next week... Pat has gotten in so many new collections lately that I am drowning in new paper! (not that there's anything wrong with that!) Check out the "What's New" section at Peek - a veritable cornucopia of patterned paper wonderfulness!
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
